Self-responsibility for wearing masks in the Bio-Park after March 13, 2023
In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, we have been asking visitors to wear masks in the Nagasaki BioPark in necessary situations, but the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan has announced that after March 13, "We respect the individual's independent choice and leave it to the individual to decide whether to wear a mask. We ask for your consideration to respect the individual's independent decision so that they are not forced to put on and take off the mask against their will."
So, we ask that you please make your own decisions regarding the necessity of wearing masks in the zoo.
Please note that our staff may continue to wear masks at their own discretion.
